The title of her latest album, Man’s Best Friend, has also been officially announced, with a release set for August 29.
Global pop icon and two-time GRAMMY Award winner Sabrina Carpenter has released her brand-new single, Manchild, marking the beginning of a bold new chapter.
Alongside the release, she officially announced the title of her highly anticipated upcoming album: Man’s Best Friend. The album is set to be released on August 29, 2025, via Island Records.

The Grammy-winning dream team reunites, as Sabrina teams up once again with Jack Antonoff.
Manchild was co-written by Sabrina Carpenter, Amy Allen, and producer Jack Antonoff.
The trio previously worked together on her 2024 album Short n’ Sweet, reuniting once again as a GRAMMY-winning creative team for this new release.
Her previous album, Short n’ Sweet, achieved global success and solidified her status as an international pop sensation.
Released in 2024, Short n’ Sweet marked a major breakthrough in Sabrina Carpenter’s career.
The track “Taste” topped the Spotify US chart, even surpassing her own hit “Please Please Please” to reach No.1.
Additionally, “Espresso” (2.2 billion streams), “Please Please Please” (1.4 billion), and “Taste” (1 billion) all joined Spotify’s prestigious Billions Club.
With this album, Sabrina earned her first-ever GRAMMY nominations—landing in six categories—and took home two awards:
Best Pop Solo Performance (Espresso)
Best Pop Vocal Album (Short n’ Sweet)

She has continued to break records as a female solo artist, achieving one milestone after another.
In 2024, Sabrina became the first female artist in history to simultaneously hold the top three spots on the UK Singles Chart—with Taste, Please Please Please, and Espresso.
She went on to claim the No.1 position for a total of 21 weeks throughout the year, setting a new record for the longest run at No.1 by a female artist.
In recognition of these achievements, she was awarded the Global Success Award at the BRIT Awards 2025, becoming the first international artist ever to receive the honor.
Her world tour sold out across all dates, with multiple shows scheduled at Madison Square Garden in New York and in Los Angeles due to overwhelming demand.
This fall, Sabrina will resume the Short n’ Sweet Tour with a second North American leg, kicking off on October 23 in Pittsburgh.
The tour will take her to major cities including New York, Nashville, Toronto, and Los Angeles.
Notably, she is scheduled to perform five consecutive nights at Madison Square Garden in New York and six straight nights at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
The tour will conclude on November 23.
The first leg of the tour—spanning 33 shows—as well as the European tour both sold out completely.
Due to overwhelming demand, additional shows were added in four cities across Europe.
Sabrina has also cemented her status as a cultural icon, making standout appearances on Saturday Night Live, the Met Gala, and other major platforms.
In 2025, Sabrina has already made headlines as a cultural force—performing alongside Paul Simon on the Saturday Night Live 50th Anniversary Special with a heartfelt rendition of “Homeward Bound.”
She also made her third appearance at the Met Gala, dressed in Louis Vuitton, and graced the cover of U.S. Vogue for the first time—further solidifying her place in the cultural spotlight.
